The Mobility Area of the Granada City Council brings Road Education closer to People with Special Educational Needs
Above all, and as a social being, it is of great importance to facilitate peoples mobility, communication with their friends, their environment, their work, etc. It is an inherent need of every human being, whatever their capacity and nature.
That is why it is necessary to facilitate education in safe mobility in all groups, emphasizing the most vulnerable people.
One more year, the activities of the Mobility Road Education Center have been attended by the students of the Purisima Concepción Special Education School, who, in their eagerness for integration, participate in as many activities as possible. they offer them and those that they themselves create around subjects of their interest, such as Road Education.
Supported by their large team of professionals, with Inmaculada Garrido, their director, at the head, they were picked up on March 25, 2022 by the bus acting as users of urban public transport, to subsequently take carry out the activity of basic knowledge and behaviors that, depending on their autonomy, can guarantee their safety.
In an emotional and cultural environment, the educational day was held with great satisfaction from both the teachers and the assistants, despite the fact that the bad weather did not make it too easy for them, but it did not prevented your enjoyment.
The teachers assessment has been highly positive and their faces and expressions of gratitude and happiness are our best gift.
