1. V RACE POLICIA NACIONAL

On Sunday May 19 2024 takes place the celebration of the V Race Policía Nacional from 8:00 to 15:00 hours.

This race is composed of two circuits, adult and child.

Adult race: start at 10:00 hours from Paseo del Salón.

Itinerary: Paseo del Salón (start at the albero area, next to Music Kiosk) - roundabout of las Titas - street excluded to traffic in Paseo del Salón - Plaza Humilladero - Rancho Grande - Acera del Darro - Puerta Real de España - Recogidas - Puentezuelas - Tablas - Carril del Picón - Gran Capitán - San Juan de Dios - Triunfo - Gran Vía de Colón - Plaza Isabel la Católica - Reyes Católicos - Puerta Real de España - Calle Ángel Ganivet - Plaza de Mariana Pineda - Plaza del Campillo - Plaza de Bibataubín - Carrera de la Virgen - Paseo del Salón (reverse sense to traffic to roundabout Las Titas) - Paseo del Salón (Central Way of albero, hundred meters before roundabout las Titas)

Child race: start at 13:00 hours from Paseo del Salón at Music Kiosk and albero area: MILE, 900 meters race, 600 meters Race, and 200 meters race.

All races will start and end at Paseo del Salón.

The development of this event creates public transport detour, affecting bus lines 4, 8, 11, 13, 21, 33, S2, N1, N5, N8, N9.

2. XIII CYCLO TOURSTIC ROUTE IN GRANADA

The XIII CYCLO ROUTE celebrates on April 26 2024 between 9:20 and 13:20 h, through the city of Granada, where around 1000 students, teachers, parents of will participate from different educational center

Educational centers participant are: Ceip Federico García Lorca, Colegio Caja Granada, Ceip Genil, Ceip Eugenia de Montijo, Ceip Santa Juliana, Ceip Sierra Elvira, Ceip Sierra Nevada, Ceip Profesor Tierno Galván, Ceip Vicente Aleixandre, Ceip Virgen de as Nieves, IES Alhambra, IES Ángel Ganivet, Ceip Luis Rosales, IES Fray Luis de Granda, IES Generalife, IES Juan XXIII (la Chana y Zaidín), IES la Madraza, IES Veleta, IES Mariana Pineda, IES Miguel de Cervantes, IES Padre Manjón, IES Padre Suárez, IES Pedro Soto de Rojas, IES Politécnico Hermenegildo Lanz, IES Severo Ochoa, IES Virgen de las Nieves, IES Zaidín Vergeles, Centro Ciudad de los Niños.

Starting time is 09:20 hours from CEIP Sierra Nevada, and will follow to Parque Tico Medina, and will follow through bike lane, and will be incorporating the rest of educational centers until Diputación Provincial.

At 11:15 hours, will start from Diputación, c/ Periodista Rafael Gómez Mont, Glorieta Plaza Europa, Avda. Fco. Ayala, Avda. Luis Miranda Dávalos, Avda. Pulianas, c/ Ancha de Capuchinos, Avda. Del Hospicio, Gran Vía, Reyes Católicos, Recogidas, c/ Arabial, c/ Doctor Alejandro Otero, Centro Cultural Caja Granada, where the Closure Act will take part, and back to educational centers at 13:20 hours.

The development of the Cyclo Route creates punctual traffic and affections to traffic.

3. Demonstration of agrarian vehicles on March 22 2024

On March 22 2024 takes place demonstration of agrarian vehicles from 9:00 hours and ending at 15:00 hours.

Itinerary: Joaquina Eguaras, Tete Montoliú, avenida Juan Pablo II, avenida de Madrid, Dr. Olóriz, avenida de la Constitución (reverse sense to Gran Vía), Gran Vía, Reyes Católicos, Acera del Darro, Paseo del Violón and ending at Palacio de Congresos.

Traffic diversions:

From Dr.Olóriz st towards city center: bus line 5, 33, U1, U3, N5, N6 and N9 when demonstration arrives to Dr. Olóriz.

From avenida de la Constitución towards city center: diversion through Severo Ochoa St. All bus lines arriving from avenida de la Constitución get through Severo Ochoa, Camino de Ronda to plaza de las Américas, where every line gets back to usual itinerary.

Once traffic cut in being done in Gran Vía, bus lines arriving from cuesta del Hospicio to avenida de la Constitución modify their itinerary: from Dr. Olóriz to avenida de Constitución, and then will be diverted trhough the previous diversion.

Diversion in Albaicín: Urban bus lines C31, C32 and C34 once traffic cut is done in the city center, schedule will be modified from cuesta del Hospicio through Capitán Moreno St and Elvira St.

4. Parade March 24

On March 24 2024 from 12:30 to 13:30 hours takes place parade.

Itinerary: C/ Santa Bárbara, Rector López Argüeta, San Juan de Dios, cross to Avda. Constitución, entrance through church Inmaculada through Divina Pastora.

There might be affections on bus lines 4, 8, 11, 21, 33, N1, N5, N8, N9.

5. Pavement repare in bus stops in Padre Suárez, Triunfo, Juzgados and Caleta

Partial traffic cuts between 23:00 February 18 and 22:00 February 20. Check up the schedule.

Due date for traffic cuts to make milling, asphalting and special "Firbond" treatment and drying works, in urban bus stops in La Caleta, Juzgados, Triunfo and Padre Suárez will be according to the next schedule:

* Bus stops in Padre Suárez and Triunfo:
- Milling and asphalting works.- partial traffic cuts between 23:00 hours of Sunday 18/02/24 and 07:00 hours of Monday 19/02/24.
- Special treatment "Firbond" and subsequently drying.- partial traffic cut between 07:00 hours and 22:00 hours of Monday 19/02/24.

* Bus stops in Juzgados and Caleta:
- Milling and asphalting works.- total traffic cut between 23:00 hours of Monday 19/02/24 and 07:00 hours of Tuesday 20/02/24.
- Special treatment "Firbond" and subsequently drying.- partial traffic cut between 07:00 hours and 22:00 hours of Tuesday 20/02/24.

6. PMV prohibitted on BUS

From January 1 2024 it is prohibitted to get on the bus carrying a personal mobility vehicle.

Users of Bus Urban Transport are informed that from January 1 2024 it is prohibitted to get on the bus carrying PMV (personal mobility vehicles). (BOJA 247-28.12.2023)

It is understood by PMV: one or two wheeled vehicle for one person only boosted with electrical engine whose mass in movement is under 50kg.

7. FLAG´S RAISIN on January 13 2024

The FLAG´S RAISIN takes place on January 13 2024 between 10:00 and 13:30 hours, creating TRAFFIC CUTS in these streets: Gran Vía de Colón, San Juan de Dios, Avda. De la Constitución and Avda. Del Hospicio.

Usually, last trip is at 20:30 hours, with the following exceptions:

• At 19:30, urban bus line N8 from Avenida Hospicio-Triunfo
• At 20:00, urban bus line N8 from Fargue
• At 20:20, urban bus line N9 (both Head Stops)
• At 20:45, urban bus line 13 from Cementerio
• Urban bus lines U1, U2 and U3 do not give service

9. IX UNIVERSITARY RACE

On November 12 2023, from 10:00 to 11:30 hours, celebrates the IX Universitary Race, starting and ending at Paseo Profesor Juan Ossorio.

Pulianas - C/ Cardenal Parrado - Paseo de Cartuja - C/ Real de Cartuja - Avd. del Hospicio - C/ Capitán Moreno - Plaza del Triunfo - C/ Elvira - Plaza Nueva - C/ Reyes Católicos - Plaza Isabel la Católica - C/ Pavaneras – C/ Santa Escolástica - Plaza Fortuny - Plaza del Realejo - C/ Santiago - C/ Solares - C/ Molinos - C/ Vistillas de los Ángeles - C/ Cuesta Escoriaza - Paseo de la Bomba - Plaza Duque San Pedro Galatino (pedestrian access to Paseo de la Bomba through the chain in Puente Verde) - Paseo del Salón - Puente Blanco.

From August 1st 2023 will be modified timetable on working days of bus lines 5, 8, N1, N3 and N9.
