SCHEDULE OF GENERAL TRAFFIC CUT
On Sunday 29 March at 14:00 hours until the end of the day.
From Monday 30 March until Sunday 5 April, at 15:30 hours until the end of the day (according to guidelines of Local Police).
On Sunday 5 Apri at 9:00 hours and until 13:00 hours (there can also be punctual traffic cuts due to wax removing works, so please follow the instructions of Local Police when necessary).
GENERAL DIVERSION POINTS
- SEVERO OCHOA. North and East area.
- RECOGIDAS. West area.
- PUENTE BLANCO. South area.
GENERAL DIVERSIONS ON PUBLIC TRANSPORTS
From Avd. Constitución towards CENTER/SOUTH.
- Diversion through Severo Ochoa. Bus lines 4, 21 and 33.
Once traffic cut is started, all bus lines from Avenida de la Constitución go through Avenida de Severo Ochoa, Camino de Ronda, until Roundabout of Aviación, where every bus lane returns to usual itinerary. - Diversion of bus lanes coming down from Cuesta del Hospicio towards Gran Vía. Bus lines 7, 8, C31 and C34.
Modify their itinerary towards Avenida de la Constitución, it can go upwards through avenida de Madrid (bus lines 7, C31 and C34), or it can turn to Avenida Severo Ochoa (Bus line 8), at the high of Avenida de Madrid, and make the specified diversion in previous point.
From Camino de Ronda to Recogidas St (SOUTH SENSE).
- Bus line 9.
Will be diverted in crossroad of Camino de Ronda with Recogidas, following through Camino de Ronda until roundabout Aviación, Paseo del Violón and Paseo de los Basilios, and back to usual itinerary.
From Góngora and Humilladero area towards CENTER/NORTH.
- Bus lines 4, 8, 9, 11, 13, 21 and 33.
Will be diverted through Paseo del Violón, Camino de Ronda, Severo Ochoa towards Avd. de la Constitución, where each line retakes usual itinerary.
DIVERSIONS IN ALHAMBRA AND ALBAICÍN
Service to the Alhambra.
Bus lines C30 and C35 when traffic cut starts in the city center buses will go from Paseo de los Basilios through Cuesta del Caidero until Alhambra.
Service to Albaicín.
Bus lines C31, C32 and C34 when traffic cut starts in the city center buses will go from Jardines del Triunfo through carretera de Murcia until Plaza de Haza Grande.
SPECIAL DIVERSIONS
Bus line S2
Does not get to Acera del Darro. From Poeta Manuel de Góngora will be directly diverted through Paseo del Violón until Profesor Tierno Galván.
Bus line 8
Does not get to universitary campus in Cartuja.
Bus line 111. Night service.
While Acera del Darro, Reyes Católicos or Gran Vía are closed to traffic, will be diverted from Paseo del Salón to Puente Blanco, Paseo del Violón, Camino de Ronda, Severo Ochoa to Avenida de la Constitución where retakes usual itinerary.
Bus line 121. Night Service
While Gran Vía, Reyes Católicos or Acera del Darro are closed, will be diverted from Avenida de la Constitución to Severo Ochoa, Camino de Ronda, Paseo del Violón to Paseo de los Basilios where retakes usual itinerary.
UNIVERSITARY BUS LINES: U1 - U2 - U3
Do not give service from 28 March until April 5, both included, starting service on 6 April (onluy bus line U2 starts service on April 7).
BUS LINES C5 and C32
From Sunday 28 March until Saturday April 4 (both included) end service at 15:30 hours.
ROAD WORKS IN AVENIDA DE CERVANTES (BUS LINES 9, 11, S0, 111 AND 121)
During Holy Week diversions due to road works in avenida de Cervantes are maintained.
TOURISTIC TRAIN SERVICE
Service is suspended from Sunday March 28 until April, both included.
TAXI SERVICE
Stops affected during traffic cut
Stops in Acera del Darro, plaza Mariana Pineda and plaza del Realejo.
Temporary stops
To ease people´s displacements, will be enabled from 16:00 hours the following taxi stops:
- 1) Callejón de Arenas. South area. (Also, and according to Local Police indications, will be enabled an additional waiting area in Puente Blanco).
- 2) Recogidas St.
- 3) Gran Vía St.
