The collective public transport system in Granada has a single ticket, valid for one travel only, with transfer possibility during 60 minutes to another lines, that you purchase on the bus when you get on it or in the vending machines located in some line 4 stops. This ticket cost 1,40 € (1,50 € if it is on a night bus).
For regular users, there are some card-passes that allow to move easilier and cheaper. The Credibús is the general card-pass. It is a contactless card. You can buy it on the bus or in the vending machines located in some line 4 stops, with cost of 2 € and a minimum charge of 5 €.

When you first buy the Credibus card you have to pay 2€.
Prices include 10% I.V.A. and S.O.V.
The Credibus can be used by several persons only when they are sharing the same journey. In the rest of the card-passes it is not valid to share.
REDUCED CITY BUS FARES IN 2023
University Bus Pass
The Intelligent University Card (TUI) allows its use as a transport card (credibus) in the urban buses of Granada. For this, previously the holder must activate his TUI as credibus in the points of activation designated by the University of Granada.
This type of card is acquired on the website of the University of Granada, provided that the established requirements are met. The duplicates are also requested from the UGR and if the "TUI" is lost or damaged, the money stored is lost.
The "TUI" are strictly personal and non-transferable, no person other than the owner can use it in public transport or in any other field. For fraudulent use, the "TUI" card can be withdrawn, in that case, the traveler must go to the University of Granada.
There are two different types of activation of the "TUI" card:
- Activation as a credibús, allows its use only by the owner with the cost of the subsidized trip, since students enrolled in official Bachelor and Postgraduate courses, under 25 years of age and whose family place of residence is not Granada, are entitled to a bonus in the price of transport.
- Activation as ordinary credibus (price without bonus) for students who do not meet the criteria for access to the university credibus, subject to the current rates of transport service. In this mode, the user can pay for their trip and / or that of their companions by passing the "TUI" through the validator as many times as necessary.
The "TUI" card can be recharged in exactly the same way as the rest of the credit cards.
Remember that the old university credibus ceased to be valid in May 2018.

Youth Bus Pass
Youth card-pass for young people from 6 to 25 years registered in the city of Granada.
Terms of use
- It is obligatory to pass your contactless card on a card reader once you get on the bus (or do it on the card reader located in line 4 stop) and you must present your card for inspection when asked to do so by authorised staff during your journey.
- With this pass you have unlimited transfers in 60 minutes from the first validation and on different lines.
Cost of the journey:
Cost of each journey is 0,61 €.This is an unipersonal card. Free transfer in 60 minutes.
Requirements
It is crucial to be registered in the city of Granada and have between 6 and 25 years old.
Pensioner Bus Pass
The Pensioner Card allows to travel free for people older than 65 years.
Terms of use
- Card-pass valid for unlimited journeys in all lines of the Urban Transport.
- It is obligatory to pass your contactless card on a card reader once you get on the bus(or do it on the card reader located in the line 4 stop)and you must present your card for inspection when asked to do so by authorised staff during your journey.
Cost of journey:
Free. 0,00 €. This is an unipersonal card.

Disabled people pass
The City Council of Granada has set a special fare for disabled people in urban collective public transport.
There have been settled two types of different Fares:
- Fare 0,00 euros: will benefit from it those people who fullfil general requirements(*) settled by the City Council, and proving that they do not recieve incomes of any nature higher than the current public income indicator of multiple effects (IPREM).
- Fare 0,57 euros: will benefit from it those people who fullfil general requirements(*) settled by the City Council, and proving that they do not recieve incomes of any nature exceeding in 1,5 times the current public income indicator of multiple effects (IPREM).
General Requirements
(*) General requirements to be beneficiary of these Fares are:
- Being registered in the city of Granada.
- Confirm a degree of disability of the 65% or higher.
Applications
Applications must be addressed to the Social Welfare and Family Area of the City Council of Granada, attaching the following documents:
- Two current passport size photographs.
- Certificate issued by the competent authority to verify the degree of disability (original or certified copy).
- Accreditation cerfificate of the pension that the applicant recieve or authorization for the City Council of Granada to require it to the National Institute of Social Security (INSS).
- Copy of the income tax of the applicant, or authorization for the City Council of Granada to require it to the Tax State Agency.

Working of Credibús and single tickets
Working
It is required to validate all the Bus Pass each time you get on the bus, either in the bus card reader or in the card readers located on the bus stops. Touch the card reader with your pass and remove it once you hear a whistle and see the green light.
The personal card pass is non-transferrable. The use of this card by other person different from the holder means the removal of it, without prejudice of any legal actions made.
Children under 6 year travel free
Children under 6 years old travel free. They have to travel with an adult and they don't need any ticket or credibús.
Free transfer in 60 minutes
Once customer get on the bus, they could make unlimited transfer in 60 minutes, provided that it is on different lines.
Single ticket with free transfer
Single tickets,one way only, have a bar code to make free transfer.Those who use it will travel in several lines for the same price.
Customers of the Metropolitan Area can use urban bus lines
Reduced price transfer with the Metropolitan Consortium of Transport card-pass is also applied to the High Capacity Line and the rest of urban bus lines of Granada.
Where to purchase or charge card-passes?
Tickets can be purchased in the vending machines in each stop of the High Capacity Line. Also card-passes can be charged, with cash or credit card.
In the rest of the lines (no line 4 with external validation/recharge machines) you can buy your ticket or passes on the bus, directly to the driver.
IMBRIC
Through Imbric you can:
- Purchase city urban bus ticket.
- Book and pay local taxis.
- Book and pay in the most relevant urban and public parkings in the city.
- Pay ORA ticket of limited parking.
You can have in your mobile phone the ticket of all urban buses in Granada, incluiding line 4.
