A tourist is treated like a resident of the area where the hotel is located, so the number plate of the customer´s vehicle will be authorised to get through at the access control points.

We recommend before getting to your hotel to ask the stablishment (or on the web site Itineraries to hotels) the recommended way to do it.

If your hotel is in the Albaicín/Sacromonte and want to acceed through Pagés or San Luis streets, because these are accesses with retractable bollards, it will be neccessary to comunicate your number plate previously. Send your number plate to the hotel and it will send it to us and this way customer will not have any problem at the bollard control point.

If the customer has to go across an access control point by camera, give your number plate once your get to the hotel to upload it on a data base and it does not generate a traffic fine. You can give your number plate when you arrive at the hotel, in reception, it is not neccessary to send it previously.

Remember that you can not use bus lanes (even you are resident or customer of any authorised hotel of the area).

I stayed in a hotel in the center of Granada and i have recieved a traffic fine, what can i do?

Get in touch with the stablishment. The hotels of Granada directly contact us and they know how to solve it.

Check that your hotel is in the list of hotels that send the number plates of the customer´s vehicles: Hotels and check where the traffic infraction has been made, to know if that hotel has permission to circulate in that street.

Also, you can submit a declaration in te Register or Offices referred in the art. 38.4 of the Ley 30/1992 and preferably, in the General Register of the City Council of Granada, in Fuerzas Armadas Avenue,4 (18014) or District Municipal Boards.
