European Mobility Week 2023


The Major for Granada and the Consortium of Metropolitan Transport in the area of Granada joins once again the celebration of the European Mobility Week between 16 and 22 September. The slogan of the campaign from last year and permanently is “Mix and Move” and the theme chosen this year by the European Commission to point out is “Energetic Efficiency”.

In this week, organised around the “International Car Free Day”, that will be held on September 22, have been organised several activities, to improve air quality, catch up public space and promote security in mobility.

It aims to aware conciousness on residents and those to come to our conurbation about:

  • The need to change our means of transport to more sustainable ways.
  • Encourage foot displacements, on bicycle, PMV and public transport.
  • Sensitize about improvement of people´s quality of life changing our mobility habits, catching up spaces for residents and reducing emmissions to the atmosphere.

  • Other exclusive activities of the Metropolitan Consortium of Transport in the area of Granada in the EMW.
  • Issue of photo contest
    Photo Contest according to the slogan of the EMW “Mix and Move”.

    Prizes:
    * 1st prize: Transport card of the MCTAGR loaded with 100€ + transport voucher for Taxi with a value of 50€ in cooperation with Gremial del Taxi and Pide Taxi + Route on bicycle for two with guide in cooperation with JCDecaux.
    * 2nd prize: Transport card of the MCTAGR loaded with 50€ + transport voucher for Taxi with a value of 25 € in cooperation with Gremial del Taxi and Pide Taxi + Guided route on foot for two in cooperation with Asociación de Guías e Interpretes del Patrimonio.
    * 3rd prize: Transport card of the MCTAGR loaded with 25€ + transport voucher for Taxi with a value of 15 € in cooperation with Gremial del Taxi and Pide Taxi.
